About Us

Very Experienced  With over 20 years producing special event and series programming for world markets.  Our clients have included most of the non-fiction networks in the US, Canada, UK, Europe and Japan.  Our distributors sell us into the rest of the world.

Story-Led  Our stories are usually “large” ones, typically with wide demographic audience appeal. We know North American audiences. And so can bring a North American story sensibility to our international work.  Our principals and creative teams combine many nationalities and international production experience. We work well with all our broadcast partners to tailor for their audience’s particular story expectations.

Audience-Oriented  Our long term acknowledged success, we believe, is rooted in our mantra   …  “tell good stories well to large audiences”. We invest in our researcher and writers. We all work hard in researching, structuring and fine-tuning our storytelling. We have a particular knack for simplifying the complex in science.

Entertaining  We believe in informing and entertaining audiences.  Our production approach borrows much from feature film and TV drama.  Stories have arcs, character is developed, quests are fulfilled (or not!) and so on.  Our productions look and sound good.  Our CGI and CGI serve the story.  We are not “issue” producers.

Quite Versatile   Our story-led audience orientation works well across program genres.  Our production success embraces most non-fiction, especially history, science, exploration and life stories. We understand the emerging platforms.

Good Client Partners  We understand well the organizational needs and dynamics of today’s private and public sector broadcasters. Our principals and creative leaders are seasoned, and have been on both sides of most tables. We do a lot of repeat business.
