Napoleon's Lost Fleet
On August 1, 1798, Admiral Horatio Nelson and the British navy sailed into Abukir Bay, Egypt. Nelson had cornered the French.
Within a day, the French fleet was in tatters and Napoleon's flagship, the enormous Orient, had exploded savagely – only 100 of 1,000 men aboard survived … "the best naval battle of the millennium." Our film combines reenactment, underwater footage and CGI to tell the story. Donald Sutherland narrates.
