Humans: Who Are We?

We set-out to explain how our ancestors went from bipedal apes to modern humans.

Going from early humans to homo sapiens, of course, meant changes in brain size, diet, and stark changes in anatomy, leading to such "modern" innovations as language, culture, and technology. Our film was reenacted on locations to match the early human jungle, plains and migration environments.  Much was spent on full body and head prosthetics; on animal wrangling (including a lion!); and on digital replication modeling to visualize tribes.
